At our recently acquired farm Villa Lucero we have started several activities to integrate the farm into our agricultural management plan.
In April and May we have harvested the rice and soybeans that had been seeded by the previous owner. After that we have prepared the land for seeding of several new grains ranging from wheat during winter to rice at the end of the year.

We also began with the preparation of the farmland. We have seeded ryegrass on 252 hectares of pasture land for our cattle to be able to graze during winter. For the seeding of the grass we contracted a local aircraft company.

A seasonal activity has also started at Villa Lucero: shearing the sheep. In total we have 1.850 sheep at this property. Immediately after the incorporation and in consultation with a veterinarian we have selected the sheep in proper condition for shearing. The sheep include lambs, rams and herds for meat consumption. Its wool will be marketed on national level.
