UAG announces its latest addition named "Sarmento". It is a property of 980 hectares which will be effectively acquired when all legal formalities are met by the seller. Sarmento is located at Rivera Province in the Northeast of Uruguay. The property is near to the Brazilian border, and adjacent to UAG's property San Luis.

Sarmento has very good facilities including houses and barns whose construction dates go back to the early 1900s. 700 hectares of this property will be managed under a crop rotation including soybeans and wheat. The other 280 hectares will be used for cattle breeding.UAG will immediately start to prepare the agricultural lands to start the crop rotation with soybeans as the first crop, as well as the repairing of the facilities which could serve as headquarters for this region.
