Our rice production has shown excellent growth in recent months. It hasn't been necessary to apply more fertilizer as climatic conditions were in this last phase very favourable to production (high temperatures and relatively high humidity). Therefore we expect to be able to harvest as from the 15th of March.
Our estimations are that we will be able to harvest 8.000 kilos per hectare after washing and drying. This is more than the national average last year which was 7.100 kilos per hectare. Considering that last year a s a whole was a better year in terms of climate, our estimations show that we are expecting very good results. We are now preparing our machinery and contracting small regional enterprises for harvesting and transport.
